Abstract

Nopiani Rangan (3020185819), Tahun 2022. Menyusun skripsi dengan judul Peran Majelis Gereja dalam Penggembalaan di Gereja Toraja Jemaat Talion Klasis Rembon Sado'ko'. Dibawah bimbiiigan Ibu Selvianti sebagai pembimbing 1 dan Bapak Sepriadi Bunga' sebagai pembimbing 2. Latar belakang Penulis mengangkat topik ini, karena penulis mengamati adanya konflik yang terjadi dilingkup pelayanan jemaat Talion. Dalam hal ini ada beberapa konflik yang terjadi seperti pertikaian antara sesama anggota jemaat, bertikai karena persoalan lahan, terjadinya kekerasan dalam rumah tangga (KDRT)Z broken home. Namun, tidak ada perhatian dari majelis gereja untuk memberikan penggembalaan kepada anggota jemaat yang berkonflik. Tujuan penelitian yang hendak penulis capai yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran majelis gereja dalam melakukan penggembalaan sesuai dengan beberapa konfliJk yang terjadi. Metode yang hendak dipakai penulis dalam merampiuigkan karya tulis ini adalali metode penelitian kualitatif yang perolehan datanya melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari lapangan, majelis gereja memiliki pandangan bahwa peran majelis gereja dalam penggembalaan harus bertanggiuig jawab penuh dalam tugas pelayanan. Ada beberapa peran-peran Majelis Gereja yaitu mensihati, mengunjungi anggota jemaat, memberikan saran, memberi perhatiaan penuh, menata pelayanan dengan baik dan menggembalan angota jemaat dengan baik dan benar. Penggembalaan merupakan pelayanan yang tidak bisa hilang dari pelayanan gereja dan penggembalaan sudah termasuk pendampingan yang diberikan oleh majelis gereja kepada anggota jemaat. Under the guidance of Mrs Selvianti as supervisor 1 and Mr Sepriadi Bungaf as supervisor 2. Background The author raised this topic, because the author observed a conflict that occurred within the Talion congregation fs ministry. In this case, there are several conflicts that occur, such as disputes between members of the congregation, fighting over land issues, domestic violence (KDRT), broken homes. However, there is no attention from the church council to provide shepherding to members of the congregation who are in conflict. The aim of the research that the author wants to achieve is to find out how the role of the church council in carrying out shepherding is in accordance with several conflicts that occur. The method that the author intends to use in completing this paper is a qualitative research method in which data is obtained through interviews, observation and literature study. The results of research obtained from the field show that the church council has the view that the role of the church council in pastoral care must be to take full responsibility for its service duties. There are several roles of the Church Council, namely advising, visiting congregation members, giving advice, giving full attention, organizing services well and shepherding congregation members properly and correctly. Shepherding is a service that cannot be missing from church services and shepherding includes the assistance provided by the church council to congregation members.
