Abstract

Rumuasan masalah dari peneliti ini adalah Bagaimana Pertumbuhan Spritual Pemuda Jemaat Imanuel Lantang Tedong Desa Malomongan Berdasarkan Teori Spiritual Gary Thomas. Spritualitas merupakan konsep yang terkait dengan kekuatan batin atau Roh yang memberi energi dan motivasi untuk menjalani hidup dengan penuh ketahanan, pertumbuhan dan pemenuhan. Spritualitas sering dihubungkan dengan dimensi rohani, yang melibatkan upaya manusia dalam mencapai kesucian atau keselamatan diri. Ini juga mencakup kesadaran dan sikap hidup yang memungkinkan seseorang untuk menghadapi cobaan dan mencapai tujuan serta imannya Dalam metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif dimana data-data yang diperoleh dari peneliti lapangan melalui observasi, wawancara dan penelusuran pustaka. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa gereja selalu berupaya dalam membimbing dan mengarahkan pemuda serta memberikan pembinaan, pelayanan yang baik kepada pemuda, sehingga spritualitas pemuda dapat bertumbuh dan berkembang. Kata Kunci: Pertumbuhan Spiritualitas Pemuda teori Thomas ABSTRACT The research question is: "How is the Spiritual Growth of the Youth of the Imanuel Lantang Tedong Congregation in Malomongan Village Based on Gary Thomas' Spiritual Theory Spirituality is a concept related to inner strength or the Spirit that provides energy and motivation to live a life of resilience, growth, and fulfillment. Spirituality is often associated with the spiritual dimension, which involves human efforts to achieve holiness or personal salvation. It also encompasses awareness and attitudes that enable one to face trials and achieve their goals and faith. The author used a qualitative research method, where data was obtained from field researchers through observation, interviews, and literature review. Based on the results of this study, the author concludes that the church consistently strives to guide and direct youth and provide guidance and good service to them, so that their spirituality can grow and develop.
