Abstract

Tujuan tulisan ini menganalisis nilai pendidikan Kristen melalui pendekatan kontesktual dalam ukiran Pa’Sussuk. Dalam menjawab tujuan dari penulisan ini, maka penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif, pendekatan kontekstual. Penulisan ini mendasarkan kajian teori dari pengertian pendidikan Kristen, nilai-nilai pendidikan Kristen,tujuan nilai pendidikan Kristen,prinsip nilai pendidikan Kristen, pengertian kontekstual, dan pengertian ukiran dalam budaya serta ukiran Pa’Sussuk yang didalamnya mengungkapkan latar belakang apa makna dan tujuan dari ukiran Pa’Sussuk serta analisis pendidikan nilai kristen. Ditemukan bahwa nilai pendidikan kristen yang terkandung dalam ukiran Pa’Sussuk yaitu mengajarkan nilai-nilai tentang, kekeluargaan, gotong royong,kebersamaan dan bertanggung jawab. nilai ini tidak terlepas sebagai masyarakat yang terus memelihara nilai-nilai pendidikan kristen.pentingnya pendidikan kristen akan terus dijaga dalam masyarakat yang dimulai sejak dulu yang diajarkan oleh orangtua kepada anaknya untuk memiliki sikap yang lebih baik lagi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata kunci: Nilai pendidikan Kristen, Kontekstual, budaya,Ukiran Pa’Sussuk. ABSTRACT The auther aim is analyze the value of Christian education through a contextual approach in the Pa'Sussuk carvings. In answering the purpose of this writing, the author uses a qualitative method, a contextual approach. This writing is based on a theoretical study of the understanding of Christian education, the values of Christian education, the goals of Christian education values, the principles of Christian education values, contextual understanding, and the understanding of carvings in culture and Pa'Sussuk carvings which reveal the background of the meaning and purpose of the Pa'Sussuk carvings and the analysis of Christian value education. It was found that the Christian education values contained in the Pa'Sussuk carvings teach the values of family, mutual cooperation, togetherness and responsibility. These values cannot be separated from a society that continues to maintain the values of Christian education. The importance of Christian education will continue to be maintained in society which began in the past which was taught by parents to their children to have a better attitude in everyday life.
