Abstract
Junairi Yuris Siruru (3020218475), menyusun skripsi dengan judul “Analisis Friendly Leadership oleh Pendeta dalam Meningkatkan Keaktifan PPGT Jemaat Sion Paccerakan Klasis Luwu”. Skripsi ini ditulis di bawah bimbingan Dr. Petrus Tiranda, M.Th. dan Sriyanti Rahayu Pabebang, M.M. Tulisan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perubahan positif dalam dinamika pelayanan PPGT, di mana PPGT yang sebelumnya kurang aktif kini menunjukkan peningkatan partisipasi yang signifikan dalam berbagai kegiatan gerejawi terutama di PPGT. Hal ini mendorong kebutuhan untuk mengkaji peran gaya kepemimpinan pendeta yang bersifat persuasif, terbuka, dan bersahabat dalam membina PPGT. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan friendly leadership oleh pendeta dalam meningkatkan keaktifan PPGT Jemaat Sion Paccerakan Klasis Luwu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka, wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan friendly leadership (kepemimpinan sahabat) oleh pendeta melalui komunikasi yang empati, keterlibatan langsung dalam kegiatan PPGT, serta pembinaan yang berbasis relasi dan kepercayaan, berkontribusi besar dalam membangun semangat, rasa percaya diri, keterlibatan aktif anggota PPGT. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar pendekatan friendly leadership terus dikembangkan dalam pelayanan pastoral untuk memperkuat peran PPGT dalam kehidupan bergereja. Abstract Junairi Yuris Siruru (3020218475) authored a thesis entitled "An Analysis of Friendly Leadership by the Pastor in Enhancing the Activeness of PPGT at Sion Paccerakan Congregation, Luwu Classis", under the supervision of Dr. Petrus Tiranda, M.Th. and Sriyanti Rahayu Pabebang, M.M. This study is motivated by the positive transformation observed in the dynamics of PPGT ministry, where the previously inactive youth fellowship has shown a significant increase in participation across various church activities. This development highlights the need to examine the role of the pastor’s leadership style, which is characterized as persuasive, open, and friendly, in guiding and empowering the youth. The objective of this research is to analyze the implementation of friendly leadership by the pastor in enhancing the activeness of PPGT at the Sion Paccerakan Congregation. The research employs a qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as literature review, interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that the application of friendly leadership—demonstrated through empathetic communication, direct involvement in youth activities, and trust-based relational mentoring—plays a significant role in fostering enthusiasm, self-confidence, and active participation among PPGT members. The study recommends that this leadership approach be continuously developed in pastoral ministry to strengthen the role of PPGT in church life.
