Abstract

Penelitian ini dimotivasi dengan permasalahan dimana para hamba Tuhan, yakni Majelis Gereja seringkali mengabaikan dan tidak konsisten mengerjakan pelayanan. Realita yang terjadi di Jemaat Roroan menunjukkan ketidaksetiaan dalam mengerjakan pelayanan. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan dan menghasilkan makna kesetiaan dari Lukas 12:35-40 untuk diimplikasikan dalam pelayanan Majelis Gereja di Jemaat Roroan. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah metode pendekatan kualitatif untuk mengamati permasalahan kesetiaan Majelis Gereja di Jemaat Roroan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan didapatkan makna dari Lukas 12:35-40 mengenai perlunya hamba Tuhan yang siap sedia dan dengan setia melayani Tuhan di masa kini. Di jemaat Roroan, ditemui bahwa masih terdapat Majelis Gereja yang masih mengabaikan pelayanan dan tidak mengerjakannya dengan konsisten. Maka dari itu, seharusnya Majelis Gereja menjadi hamba Tuhan yang selalu siap sedia dan selalu waspada serta setia menampakkan hidup yang dapat diteladani. Untuk itu, dengan mengetahui dan memahami dengan makna Lukas 12:35-40, Majelis Gereja menyadari serta sungguh-sungguh setia dalam melayani. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the problem where God's servants, namely the Church Council, often ignore and are inconsistent in carrying out their services. The reality that occurs in the Roroan Congregation shows unfaithfulness in carrying out their services. So this study aims to find and produce the meaning of loyalty from Luke 12:35-40 to be implied in the service of the Church Council in the Roroan Congregation. The method used is Historical Grammatical Hermeneutics to observe the problem of loyalty of the Church Council in the Roroan Congregation. Based on the research that has been done, the meaning of Luke 12:35-40 is obtained regarding the need for God's servants who are ready and faithfully serve God in the present. Loyalty will help God's servants, namely the Church Council, to be able to carry out their service responsibilities with full awareness and can dedicate their lives to the God who is served. For that, by knowing and understanding the meaning of Luke 12:35-40, the Church Council realizes and can be truly faithful in serving.
