Abstract
“Tinjauan Teologis Praktis Terhadap Keterlibatan Penatua dalam Pengajaran Katekisasi di Jemaat Padang Katapi Klasis Luwu” yang diajukan kepada Institut Agama Kristen Negeri (IAKN) Toraja. Dibimbing oleh Bapak Semuel Tokam, M.Th dan Bapak Ferdi Sapan Alextian, M. Psi. Pemilihan Topik ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya Keterlibatan Penatua dalam Pengajaran Katekisasi. Hal tersebut yang mendorong penulis untuk menganalisis lebih dalam tentang bagaimana keterlibatan penatua dalam pengajaran katekisasi. Untuk mendapatkan data sehubungan dengan topik yang di atas, maka penulis melakukan penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif atau dengan cara observasi dan wawancara. Hasil wawancara dengan Ibu Pendeta dan Majelis Gereja, observasi dan analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagai Majelis Gereja harus tahu tugas dan tanggung jawab sehingga menimbulkan bibit yang menghidupi ladang Tuhan. Kata Kunci: Katekisasi, Pemuda, Gereja, Penatua. ABSTRACT "Practical Theological Review of Elder Involvement in Catechism Teaching in the Padang Katapi Congregation, Luwu Classis" submitted to the Toraja State Christian Institute (IAKN). Supervised by Mr. Semuel Tokam, M.Th and Mr. Ferdi Sapan Alextian, M.Psi. The selection of this topic was motivated by the involvement of elders in catechism teaching. This prompted the author to analyze more deeply about how elders are involved in catechism teaching. To obtain data related to the topic above, the author conducted research with a qualitative approach or by means of observation and interviews. The results of interviews with the Reverend and the Church Council, observations and research analysis showed that as the Church Council, they must know their duties and responsibilities so that they can produce seeds that nourish God's field.
