Abstract
Nalce Lante, pada tahun 2024 menulis skripsi yang berjudul ‚Kajian Hermeneutik 2 Timotius 3:15-16 Tentang Manfaat Kitab Suci Bagi Anak Sekolah Minggu dan Implikasinya Bagi Guru Sekolah Minggu Jemaat Rante Buangin‛. Penelitian ini menguraikan tentang manfaat Kitab Suci dalam 2 Timotius 3:15-16, lalu diimplikasikan ke Guru Sekolah Minggu Jemaat Rante Buangin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan kajian hermeneutik tentang manfaat Kitab Suci dalam 2 Timotius 3:15-16 dan implikasinya bagi Guru Sekolah Minggu di Jemaat Rante Buangin. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan gramatikal historis dan penulis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif menggunakan tiga teknik pengumpulan data, yaitu: studi kepustakaan, observasi, dan wawancara. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh beberapa Guru Sekolah Minggu yang kurang serius dalam tugasnya sebagai seorang pelayan, yang ditandai dengan malasnya mengikuti persiapan bersama dan masih ada guru yang ingin menonjolkan diri sendiri dalam pelayanan. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa manfaat Kitab Suci dalam 2 Timotius 3:15-16, yaitu memberi hikmat, menuntun pada keselamatan, mengajar, menyatakan kesalahan, memperbaiki kelakuan, dan mendidik dalam kebenaran. Kata Kunci: 2 timotius 3:15-16, Kitab Suci, Manfaat, Guru Sekolah Minggu ABSTRACT Nalce Lante, in 2024 wrote a thesis entitled "Hermeneutic Study of 2 Timothy 3:15-16 on the Benefits of Scripture for Sunday School Children and Its Implications for Sunday School Teachers of the Rante Buangin Congregation". This study describes the benefits of Scripture in 2 Timothy 3:15-16, then implies it to Sunday School Teachers of the Rante Buangin Congregation. This study aims to describe a hermeneutic study of the benefits of Scripture in 2 Timothy 3:15-16 and its implications for Sunday School Teachers in the Rante Buangin Congregation. This study uses a historical grammatical approach and the author uses a qualitative approach using three data collection techniques, namely: literature study, observation, and interviews. This research was motivated by several Sunday School Teachers who were not serious in their duties as servants, which was marked by their laziness in following joint preparations and there were still teachers who wanted to stand out in service. The results of the study show that the benefits of the Scriptures in 2 Timothy 3:15-16 are to give wisdom, lead to salvation, teach, reveal errors, correct behavior, and educate in truth.
