Abstract
Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan Tata Gereja Toraja pasal 37 tentang diaken di Gereja Toraja Jemaat Bau Klasis Bittuang. Menggunkana Metode penelitian Kualitatif pendekatan deskriptif dan terjun langsung kelapangan. Tata Gereja Toraja bertujuan untuk mengatur ketertiban dan kelancaran pelayanan dalam Gereja Toraja khususnya dipasal 37 membahas tentang jabatan gerejawi yaitu diaken. Diaken merupakan jabatan yang ditetapkan langsung oleh Tuhan Yesus, karena itu diaken mempunyai arti yang luas bukan hanya diartikan sebagai pelayan meja, gereja hadir di dunia ini untuk melayani Allah dan melayani manusia. Di Gereja Toraja Jemaat ada beberapa diaken yang belum sepenuhnya menjalankan tugasnya dengan baik sehingga Pelayanan yang dilakukan belum merata kepada anggota jemaat dan juga mereka sering lalai dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Penting untuk melakukan sosialisasi,pembinaan dan pendampingan bagi diaken tentang Tata Gereja Toraja khususnya pasal 37 tentang diaken dalam jemaat. Karena dengan dilakukannya tersebut mereka mampu memahami dan bertanggung jawab dalam pelayanan yang dipercayakan oleh Tuhan. Kata Kunci: Implementasi, Tata Gereja Toraja, Diaken. Abstract This paper aims to implement Article 37 of the Toraja Church Order concerning deacons in the Toraja Congregation Bau Klasis Bittuang Church. Using a cjualitative research method descriptive approach and directly involved in the field. The Toraja Church Administration aims to regulate the convenience and smooth running of Services in the Toraja Church, especially in article 37 which discusses the ecclesiastical position, namely deacon. Deacon is a position directly determined by the Lord Jesus, because ofthat deacon has a broad meaning, not only interpreted as a table servant, the church is present in this world to serve God and serve humans. At the Toraja Congregational Church there are several deacons who have not fully carried out their work properly so that the Services carried out are not evenly distributed to members of the congregation and also they are often negligent in carrying out their work. It is important to carry out outreach, coaching and mentoring for deacons regarding the Toraja Church Administration, especially article 37 concerning deacons in the congregation. Because by doing so they are able to understand and be responsible in the ministry entrusted by God. Keywords: implementation, church ordinance Toraja, deacon.
