Abstract

Febriyanto Kannapadang (2020143932), Menyususn Skripsi ini dengan judul Studi Teologis Terhadap Paham GBI Api Kemuliaan Tentang Bahasa Roh. Skripsi ini dibuat dibawah bimbingan Frans P. Rumbi M.Th dan Andarias T. Sitammu M.Th. Penelitian ini bertitik tolak dari berbagai pandangan yang berbeda mengenai bahasa roh. Salah satu aliran gereja yang menonjolkan bahasa roh dalam ibadah mereka adalah gerakan Kharismatik. Gerakan ini menekankan bahwa bahasa roh adalah sesuatu yang mutlak bagi gereja sebagai tanda pengertian Roh Kudus. Namun disisi lain, gereja diluar Kharismatik menekankan bahwa karunia bahasa roh bukanlah satu-satunya indikator yang dijadikan sebagai ukuran untuk karya Roh Kudus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran pemahaman gereja Kharismatik mengenai bahasa roh. Untuk memperoleh data yang valid dan alamiah, maka dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode penelitian kualitatif pada pendekatan fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian tentang paham gereja Kharismatik mengenai bahasa roh tampak dari penekanan pentingnya bahasa roh bagi setiap pribadi manusia. gerakan Kharismatik menekankan bahwa, (1) Bahasa roh adalah tanda awal dari seseorang yang dipenuhi Roh Kudus. (2)Mereka juga menekankan bahwa, seseorang yang dapat berbahasa roh mendapatkan berbagai pengalaman Rohani dari Allah. (3)Mereka juga meyakini bahwa bahasa roh merupakan cara komunikasi dengan Allah. ABSTRACT Febriyanto Kannapadang (2020143932), Arranged this Thesis with the title Theological Study of the Understanding of the GBI of the Fire of Glory About Spiritual Language. This thesis was made under the guidance of Frans P. Rumbi M.Th and Andarias T. Sitammu M.Th. This research starts from different views about tongues. One of the church streams that emphasizes tongues in their worship is the Charismatic movement. This movement emphasizes that tongues are an absolute must for the church as a sign of understanding the Holy Spirit. But on the other hand, the church outside Charismatic emphasizes that the gift of tongues is not the only indicator used as a measure for the work of the Holy Spirit. This study aims to obtain a description of the Charismatic church’s understanding of tongues. To obtain valid and natural data, qualitative research methods are used in the phenomenological approach. The results of research on the Charismatic church’s understanding of tongues appear from the emphasis on the importance of tongues for each human person. The Charismatic movement emphasizes that, (1) Tongues are the initial sign of someone filled with the Holy Spirit. (2) They also emphasize that someone who can speak in tongues gets various spiritual experiences from God. (3) They also believe that tongues are a way of communication with God.
