Abstract
Kejadian 3:1-24 merupakan salah satu teks dalam Kitab Kejadian yang dikaji oleh penulis dan dipeijumpakan dengan kearifan lokal di Toraja. Kearifan lokal yang dimaksud oleh penulis adalah mitologi Toraja dalam kisah eran di langi9. Metode yang dipakai oleh penulis dalam penulisan ini adalah metode pendekatan hermeneutik dan dalam proses perjumpaan dengan kearifan lokal Toraja, penulis menggunakan pendekatan hermeneutik kontekstual untuk mendialogkan makna kutuk dari Kejadian 3:1-24 dengan kisah eran di langi9 dalam budaya Toraja untuk membaca anugerah di balik kutuk. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan penelitian, penulis memperoleh data bahwa ada anugerah di balik kutuk. Anugerah dalam kutuk dapat terlihat dari pola pikir manusia yang berkembang. Pola pikir yang dimaksudkan misalnya pemahaman manusia untuk lebih taat kepada Tuhan, dari mana manusia berasal dan kemana tujuan hidup serta kesempatan untuk melanjutkan hidup di bumi ini. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa anugerah Allah tetap tercurah dalam berbagai situasi hidup dan bahkan disaat manusia tidak menyadari kehadiran-Nya. Mengimani kehadiran dan peijumpaan dengan Allah merupakan anugerah Allah dalam perjalanan hidup beriman. Kata Kunci: Anugerah, Kutuk, Hermeneutik, Allah, Toraja. ABSTRACT Genesis 3:1-24 is one of the texts in the Book of Genesis studied by the author and encountered with local wisdom in Toraja. The local wisdom referred to by the author is Toraja mythology in the story of eran di tangi'. The method used by the author in this paper is a hermeneutic approach and the process of encountering Toraja local wisdom. The author uses a contextual hermeneutic approach to dialogue the meaning of the curse from Genesis 3:1-24 with the story of eran di langi' in Toraja culture to read the grace behind the curse. Based on the results of analysis and research, the authors obtained data that there is grace behind the curse. The grace in the curse can be seen from the developing human mindset. The mindset is such a human understanding to be more obedient to God, understanding about where humans come from and where the purpose of life and the opportunity to continue living on this earth are. This research proves that the grace of God continues to pour out in various life situations, even humans are not aware of His presence. Faith in the presence of and encounter with God is a gift from God in the life joumey of faith. Keywords: Grace, Curse, Hermeneutics, God, Toraja.
