Abstract

Presbiterial Sinodal adalah system pemerintahan Gereja yang dianut oleh Gereja Toraja. Sistem ini adalah perpaduan antara sistim Sinodal dan Sistem Presbiterial.Presbiterial Sinodal berarti pejabat Gereja yang berjalan Bersama. Jika kata Presbiteroi diterjemahkan sebagai yang dituakan, dan yang berpikir matang maka yang mau ditekankan adalah para pejabat Gerejawi yang di pilih itu mampu memikirkan penataan pelayanan Gerejawi dengan baik, tenang mengambil keputusan, bijak dalam menyampaikan berbagai keputusan yang telah disepakati, dewasa dalam menghadapi gumul dalam jemaat. Presbiterial sinodal di Gereja Toraja adalah sistem pemerintahan Gereja yang paling demokratis yang perlu dielaborasi sebagai kekuatan dan potensi dalam menggereja,Salah satunya pengembangan kepemimpinan. Dalam Sistim Presbiterial sinodal, dapat memberi peluang dalam pengembangan Kepemimpinan yang ada di semua lingkup Gereja Toraja, bahkan sistim ini juga memberi ruang dalam perjumpaan dengan budaya. Dalam konteks wilayah dua Rantepao sebagai pusat perkembangan Gereja Toraja dan Budaya Toraja yang kental dibutuh kehadiran Gereja yang mampu menjawab situasi yang ada. Gereja yang berkembang adalah Gereja yang terus hadir dalam dinamisasi konteksnya. Gereja harus menjawab setiap teks lokal dalam setiap perkembangan zaman. Karena itu, dibutuhkan kerja dan Strategi yang masif dan terstruktur oleh semua pemangku Gereja dalam menjawab setiap kondisi yang ada. Presbiterial Sinodal adalah penguat dari potensi bagi Gereja dalam mengembangkan kepemimpinan dan mekanisme keputusan. Kata kunci: Presbiterial sinodal, Pemerintahan Gereja, Budaya dan Kepemimpinan. ABSTRACT Presbyterial Synodal is the System of Church govemment adopted by the Torajan Church. This System is a combination of the Synodal system and the Presbyterian System.Presbyterial Synodal means Church officials who walk Together. If the word Presbytery is translated as the elderly, and those who think carefully, then what will be emphasized is that the elected Ecclesiastical officials are able to think well of the arrangement of ecclesiastical Services, calmly make decisions, wise in conveying the various decisions that have been agreed, mature in dealing with struggles in the congregation. The synodal presbyterial in the Toraja Church is the most democratic system of church govemment that needs to be elaborated as a strength and potential in churching, one of which is leadership development. In the synodal Presbyterial System, it can provide opportunities for leadership development that exists in all spheres of the Torajan Church, even this system also provides space for encounter with culture. In the context of the two regions of Rantepao as the center of the development of the Toraja Church and Toraja Culture which is thick, the presence of the Church is needed that is able to answer the existing situation. A growing Church is one that is constantly present in the dynamism of its context. The Church must answer to every local text in every development of the times. Therefore, massive and structured work and strategy are needed by all Church stakeholders in responding to every condition that exists. Presbyterial Synodal is a reinforcement of the potential for the Church in developing leadership and decision mechanisms. Keywords: Synodal Presbyterial, Church Governance, Culture and Leadership.
