Abstract

Kisah sengsara Yesus merupakan kisah yang unik dan dikisahkan secara teratur dan beruntut. Kisah sengsara Yesus disaksikan oleh keempat Injil. Peristiwa yang terjadi hanya satu kali namun disaksikan oleh keempat Injil. Tentunya dalam dalam menyaksikan akan kisah sengsara Yesus, para penginjil memiliki maksud dan orientasi serta konteks yang berbeda-beda, misalnya Injil Sinoptik pada dasarnya memiliki kesamaan dalam penyajian kisah sengsara Yesus tetapi dalam Injil Yohanes sangat berbeda. Hal ini dikarenakan oleh konteks dan kebutuhan jemaat yang berbeda-beda. Injil Yohanes dalam pemaparan kisah sengsara Yesus lebih menekankan Yesus dari sudut keilahian-Nya dalam hidup, karya, sengsara, kematian dan kebangkitan-Nya. Yesus dalam segala ketaatan-Nya, menjalani sengsara sebagaimana yang telah ditentukan. Berdasarkan pada pemaparan diatas, maka tulisan ini dikaji dalam rangka untuk melihat keunikan dan kekhasan tentang kisah sengsara Yesus dalam Injil Yohanes (18:1-19:42) dan kontribusinya dalam kehidupan iman Kristiani. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan dalam upaya mencari keunikan dan pemahaman teologis yang lebih mendalam yaitu kajian naratif. Melalui kajian naratif ini, kisah sengsara Yesus dalam Injil Yohanes dapat dilihat dalam dunia ceriteranya dan latar historisnya, yang kemudian direlevansikan bagi penghayatan kehidupan iman Kristiani. Paparan penjelasan berakhir dengan kesimpulan yang menekankan : setiap Injil memiliki keunikan dalam pandangannya masing- masing dalam menyajikan kisah sengsara Yesus, Injil Yohanes dalam kekhasannya yang berbeda hadir untuk melengkapi umat Tuhan dalam penghayatan iman yang lebih bermakna dalam menghadapi tantangan penderitaan kehidupan yang dialami umat yang hidup dalam konteks kekinian. Kata kunci: kisah, sengsara, Yesus, kajian naratif, penghayatan iman. ABSTRACT The story of Jesus' passion is a unique story and is tell in an orderly and sequential manner. The four Gospels passion tell the story of Jesus' passion. This event happened only once, and the four Gospels watched it. Of course, in witnessing the story of Jesus' passion, the evangelists have dijferent intentions, orientations, and contexts, for example the Synoptic Gospels have the same presentation of the story of Jesus' passion but are diffrent in the Gospel of John. This is due to the dijferent contexts and needs of congregations. The Gospel of John, in its presentation of the story of Jesus' passion, emphasizes Jesus from the perspective of His divinity in His life, work, passion, death, and resurrection. Jesus, in all His obedience, underwent sujfering as prescribed. Based on the explanation above, this article is study in order to see the uniqueness and particularity of the story of Jesus' passion in the Gospel of John (18:1-19:42) and its contribution to the life ofChristianfaith. The approach method used to seek uniqueness and deeper theological understanding is narrative study. Through this narrative study, the story of Jesus' passion in the Gospel of John readable in its story world and historical setting, which is then made relevant for living the life ofthe Christian faith. The explanatory presentation conclude that each Gospel is unique in its perspective in presenting the story of Jesus' passion. The Gospel of John, in its dijferent uniqueness, is present to equip God's people to live out their faith in a more meaningful way infacing the challenges of life's sujfering experienced by living people. in the current context.
