Abstract

Menurut World Health Organization (WHO) lanjut usia (lansia) adalah kelompok penduduk yang berumur 60 tahun atau lebih. Dalam kategori usia ini, para lansia tentu mengalami banyak kemunduran dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan. Dan para lansia juga mengalami kesepian, penderitaan karna kondisi fisik, beban hidup, serta tekanan dalam keluarga, dan sebagainya. pelayanan pastoral sangat dibutuhkan ole lansia untuk mendampingi mereka secara pribadi, memberikan bimbingan sehingga mereka dapat melihat tujuan hidupnya baik dalam kehidupan dengan sesama maupun dalam relasi dan tanggung jawabnya kepada Tuhan. Kata kunci : lansia, pastoral, makna hidup. ABSTRACT According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the elderly are a group of people aged 60 years or older. In this age category, the elderly certainly experience many setbacks in various aspects of life. And the elderly also experience loneliness, suffering due to physical conditions, burdens of life, and pressure in the family, and so on. Pastoral care is very much needed by the elderly to accompany them personally, provide guidance so that they can see their purpose in life both in life with others and in their relationships and responsibilities to God.
