Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tinjauan teologi digital terhadap pelaksanaan ibadah online di Gereja Toraja Jemaat Elim Rantepao. Fokus utama penelitian adalah untuk memahami bagaimana warga jemaat memaknai pelaksanaan ibadah online dan melakukan refleksi teologis terhadap pemaknaan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara terhadap anggota jemaat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa warga Gereja Toraja Jemaat Elim Rantepao memiliki pemaknaan yang beragam terhadap pelaksanaan ibadah online. Secara umum, jemaat menunjukkan keterbukaan terhadap penggunaan teknologi dalam ibadah, memandangnya sebagai anugerah Tuhan yang memfasilitasi penyampaian firman dan pelaksanaan ibadah. Refleksi teologis mengungkapkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi dalam ibadah dapat dilihat sebagai bentuk penerapan teologi dalam konteks digital, sejalan dengan pandangan bahwa teknologi adalah bagian dari anugerah Allah yang dapat digunakan untuk kemuliaan-Nya. Berdasarkan temuan ini, direkomendasikan agar Gereja terus mengembangkan strategi untuk meningkatkan kualitas ibadah online, termasuk peningkatan prasarana teknologi dan pelatihan sumber daya manusia. This study examines the digital theology perspective on the implementation of Online worship at the Toraja Church of Elim Rantepao Congregation. The main focus of the research is to understand how congregation members interpret Online zuorship and to conduct a theological reflection on this interpretation. The method used is qualitative research, with data collection through in-depth interviews with congregation members. The results show that the members of the Toraja Church ofElim Rantepao Congregation have diverse interpretations of Online worship. In general, the congregation demonstrates openness to the use of technology in worship, viewing it as a giftfrom God that facilitates the delivery ofthe Word and the conduct of worship. Theological reflection reveals that the use of technology in zuorship can be seen as aform of applying theology in a digital context, in line with the view that technology is part ofGod's grace that can be usedfor His glory. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the church continue to develop strategies to improve the quality of online worship, including upgrading technological infrastructure and training human resources
