Abstract

ABSTRAK Gaya busana dirasakan dampaknya di kalangan mahasiswa karena mahasiswa saat ini condong memperlihatkan gaya berbusana yang mengikuti tren. Konsep diri adalah suatu keyakinan yang spesifik terhadap diri sendiri, dimana keyakinan tersebut merupakan hasil atau akibat dari pengaruh bebrapa hal. Pemilihan topik didasari oleh kenyataan di lapangan bahwa gaya berbusana mahasiswa kepemimpinan Kristen angkatan 2020 berbeda dengan angkatan yang lain sehinggah tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana gaya berbusana mahasiswa IAKN Toraja prodi Kepemimpinan Kristen angkatan 2020 dalam menemukan konsep diri berdasarkan perspektif Hurlock penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif data di kumpulkan melalui observasi,wawancara langsung, dan concent analysis. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh penulis Mahasiswa prodi Kepemimpinan Kristen angkatan 2020 menemukan konsep diri ketika menggunakan gaya berbusana yaitu ada yang memiliki bakat dibidang gaya berbusana, gaya busana yang digunakan membuat mereka disukai oleh orang lain, gaya busana yang digunakan cocok karna memiliki kepuasan terhadap gaya busana yang digunakan, gaya busana yang digunakan disesuaikan dengan status sosial yang dimiliki, gaya busana yang digunakan menunjukan kepribadian mereka dan gaya busana yang digunakan memiliki nilai-nilai kristiani. Kata Kunci: Gaya Berbusana, Hurlock, Konsep Diri. ABSTRACT Fashion style is felt among students because students today tend to show fashion styles that follow trends. Self-concept is a specific belief in oneself, where this belief is the result or result of the influence of several things. The selection of the topic is based on the fact in the field that the dress style of Christian leadership students of the class of 2020 is different from other batches so the main purpose of this study is to find out how the dress style of IAKN Toraja students of the Christian Leadership study program class of 2020 in finding self-concept based on Hurlock's perspective this research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach of data collected through observation, direct interviews, and concent analysis. The results of the research obtained by the author of the 2020 Christian Leadership Study Program students found a self-concept when using a style of clothing, namely that there are those who have talent in the field of fashion style, the fashion style used makes them liked by others, the fashion style used is suitable because they have satisfaction with the fashion style used, the fashion style used is adjusted to the social status they have, the fashion style used shows their personality and the fashion style used has Christian values.
