Abstract

Abstrak Priska Wilda Kanan : 2020207475 “ MERANGKUL “yang lain” : Kajian Teologi Kerapuhan Terhadap Jemaat Yang Menjalani Pelaksanaan Disiplin Gerejawi Di jemaat Sesesalu”.(Dibimbing oleh bapak Admadi Balloara Dase, M.Hum. dan bapak Jems Alam, M.Si.). Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah yang terjadi di jemaat Sesesalu, dimana pelaksanaan disiplin gerejawi tidak sesuai dengan tujuan disiplin gerejawi yaitu untuk kemuliaan Tuhan dan untuk membawa mereka yang jatuh ke dalam dosa berbalik kepada Tuhan melalui pemulihan. Hal ini yang membuat penulis tertarik untuk melihat bagaimana merangkul mereka yang rapuh dengan kajian teologi Kerapuhapn secara khusus di jemaat Sesesalu. Dalam penulisan skripsi ini penulis menggunakan metode penelitian Kualitatif melakukan wawancara dan observasi untuk mendapatkan data yang lebih akurat. Dari hasil temuan pelaksanaan disiplin gerejawi di jemaat sesesalu ditemukan bahwa pelaksanaan disiplin gerejawi membawa dampak negatif yang membuat mereka merasa rapuh, malu, minder, kecewa, tidak berharga dan membuat hubungan mereka dengan Tuhan dan sesama tidak baik. Melihat hal itu gereja perlu untuk memeluk dan merangkul mereka yang rapuh dengan penuh kasih sayang, dengan adanya prinsip-prinsip teologi kerapuhan, yang menekankan penerimaan dan kasih sayang terhadap kelemahan manusia gereja bisa menggunakan prinsip-prinsip itu sebagai konten pembinaan Disiplin gerejawi yang mengutamakan pemulihan dan dukungan berkelanjutan. Abstract Priska Wilda Kanan : 2020207475 "EMBRACING "the other": Study of the Theology of Fragility in Congregations Undergoing Ecclesiastical Discipline in the Sesesalu congregation." (supervised by Mr. Admadi Balloara Dase, M.Hum and Mr. Jems Alam, M.Si). This research was motivated by problems that occurred in the Sesesalu congregation, where the implementation of ecclesiastical discipline was not in accordance with the aim of ecclesiastical discipline, namely for the glory of God and to bring those who have fallen into sin to turn to God through restoration. This is what makes the author interested in seeing how to embrace those who are fragile with the study of Fragility theology specifically in the Sesesalu congregation. In writing this thesis the author used qualitative research methods, conducting interviews and observations to obtain more accurate data. From the findings of the implementation of ecclesiastical discipline in congregations, it is always found that the implementation of ecclesiastical discipline has a negative impact which makes them feel fragile, embarrassed, inferior, disappointed, worthless and makes their relationship with God and others not good. Seeing this, the church needs to embrace and embrace those who are fragile with great affection, with the principles of fragility theology, which emphasize acceptance and compassion for human weakness. The church can use these principles as content for the formation of ecclesiastical discipline that prioritizes recovery and ongoing support.
