Abstract
Abstrak Uci Ulpasila (2020207511), Peran Gereja Dalam meningkatkan Ekonomi Pangan Bagi Warga GPIL Jemaat Parekaju, dibawah bimbingan Rinaldus Tanduklangi, M.Pd sebagai dosen pembimbing I dan Yelinda Sri Silvia, M.Th sebagai dosen pembimbing II. Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang peran gereja dalam meningkatkan ekonomi pangan bagi warga GPIL Jemaat Parekaju. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi lapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya serta peran yang dilakukan oleh gereja dalam meningkatkan ekonomi pangan bagi warga jemaatnya. Peran gereja dalam meningkatkan ekonomi pangan menekankan enam indikator yaitu pemberdayaan ekonomi, pengembangan pertanian, perkebunan, peternakan, pengembangan potensi, motivasi dan kerja sama. Namun hal tersebut belum dilakukan secara maksimal sehingga hasilnya pun tidak optimal dikarenakan beberapa hal yang memengaruhi yaitu kurangnya modal, kurangnya kerja sama, dan kurang terbangunnya hubungan antara pemerintah dengan warga jemaat. Kata Kunci : Peran, Gereja, Meningkatkan, Ekonomi, Pangan. Abstract Uci Ulpasila (2020207511), Task of the Church in Improving the Food Economy for GPIL Parekaju Congregation Members, main supervisor of Rinaldus Tanduklangi, M.Pd as main Supervisor and Yelinda Sri Silvia, M.Th as Co Supervisor. This aim of the research examines the tasks of the church in improving the agricultural and food economy for GPIL Parekaju Congregation members. This study uses a qualitative method with a field study approach. This aim of the research is to describe the efforts and tasks rolls carried out by the church in improving the agricultural and food economy for its congregation members. Tasks of the church in improving the agricultural and food economy emphasizes six indicators, namely economic empowerment, development of agriculture, plantations, livestock, development of potential, motivation and cooperation. However, this has not been done optimally so that the results are not optimal due to several factors that influence it, namely lack of capital, lack of cooperation, and poor relations between the government and the congregation members.
