Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor sosial yang melatarbelakangi terjadinya diferensiasi interpretasi simbolik terhadap Nyanyian Jemaat Nuansa Etnik Nomor 104 di Kelurahan Pangli Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan analisis wacana. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dandokumentasi terhadap informan yang dipilih secara pusposif. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teori praktik sosial Pierre Bourdieu digunakan sebagai pisau analisis untuk memahami bagaimana habitus membentuk cara pandang dan pemaknaan agen-agen sosial terhadap simbol yang sama. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa diferensiasi interpretasi simbolik terhadap Nyanyian Jemaat Nuansa Etnik nomor 104 tidak muncul secara spontan, melainkan diengaruhi oleh habitus yang berbeda antar masyarakat. Perbedaan habitus tersebut menghasilkan cara pandang dan pola interpretasi yang berbeda sehingga melahirkan konstruksi makna yang beragam terhadap nyanyian tersebut dalam kehidupan sosial masyarakat Pangli Selatan. Kata Kunci: diferensiasi, habitus, interpretasi simbolik, praktik sosial, Pierre Bourdieu. ABSTRACK This study aims to analyze the social factors underlying the differentiation of symbolic interpretations of the Ethnic Nuances Congregation Song No. 104 in Pangli Selatan Village. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method with a discourse analysis approach. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation of informants selected purposively. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Pierre Bourdieu's theory of social practice was used as an analytical tool to understand how habitus shapes the perspectives and meanings of social agents towards the same symbol. This study found that the differentiation of symbolic interpretations of the Ethnic Nuances Congregation Song No. 104 did not emerge spontaneously, but was influenced by different habitus among communities. These differences in habitus resulted in different perspectives and interpretation patterns, thus giving rise to diverse constructions of meaning for the song in the social life of the Pangli Selatan community.
