Abstract
Penerapan metode CeriA oleh Guru Sekolah Minggu di Jemaat Imanuel Karombi belum berjalan optimal meskipun sebagian GSM telah mengikuti pelatihan CeriA. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penerapan metode CeriA oleh Guru Sekolah Minggu Gereja Toraja Jemaat Imanuel Karombi Klasis Sillanan, yaitu metode bercerita yang menempatkan Allah sebagai tokoh sentral agar anak berjumpa dengan-Nya melalui cerita yang hidup dan mengesankan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman GSM tentang metode CeriA sudah benar secara konseptual, namun belum sepenuhnya terwujud dalam praktik. Persiapan pribadi belum konsisten, persiapan bersama belum berkelanjutan, dan pelaksanaan bercerita belum sepenuhnya mencerminkan prinsip CeriA sehingga cerita belum membekas dalam ingatan anak. Selain itu, belum optimalnya peran Pengurus Sekolah Minggu dalam penjadwalan dan pelaksanaan program turut memengaruhi kualitas penerapan metode ini. Motivasi pelayanan GSM yang berakar pada panggilan Tuhan menjadi modal utama, yang perlu ditopang dukungan yang lebih baik dari Pengurus Sekolah Minggu dan Majelis Gereja. ABSTRACT The application of the CeriA method by Sunday School Teachers (GSM) at Imanuel Karombi Congregation has not been running optimally, even though some GSM have participated in CeriA training. This study aims to analyze the application of the CeriA method by Sunday School Teachers of the Toraja Church, Imanuel Karombi Congregation, Sillanan Classis, a storytelling method that places God as the central character so that children encounter Him through stories that are vivid and memorable. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that GSM's understanding of the CeriA method is conceptually correct, but has not been fully realized in practice. Personal preparation has not been consistent, joint preparation has not been sustained, and the implementation of storytelling has not fully reflected the principles of CeriA, so the stories have not left a lasting impression on children's memory. In addition, the suboptimal role of the Sunday School Board in scheduling and program implementation has also affected the quality of the method's application. GSM's ministry motivation, rooted in a calling from God, serves as a key asset, one that needs to be supported more effectively by the Sunday School Board and Church.
