Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aimed to analyze the impact of the use of loose parts in stimulating the fine motor development of children aged 5–6 years at TK Pertiwi Ge'tengan. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The informants consisted of three teachers. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through technique triangulation. The findings showed that the use of loose parts was implemented through four stages: apperception, expansion, development, and assessment. The use of loose parts had a positive impact on children's fine motor development, as reflected in their ability to imitate shapes, paste accurately, and arrange objects according to patterns. These activities helped children develop hand-eye coordination, accuracy, and finger dexterity during the learning process. The assessment conducted by the teacher through observing both the learning process and the children's work enabled the teacher to identify each child's fine motor development. Keywords: Loose Parts, Fine Motor Development, Early Childhood.
