Abstract

Kata kunci: Bimbingan kelompok, teknik permainan simulasi, konsentrasi belajar ABSTRACT This study was motivated by the issue of low learning concentration among students at school. This was evidenced by behaviors such as failing to pay attention to the teacher during explanations (e.g., chatting or working on other tasks), not responding to the material presented, engaging in physical movements inconsistent with the teacher's instructions, and showing signs of boredom during lessons. The study aimed to examine the use of group guidance employing simulation game techniques to improve students' learning concentration. A classroom action research method was used, with data collected through observation and documentation. The results indicated that the group guidance intervention—conducted over two cycles comprising four sessions—successfully improved students' learning concentration; improvements were observed in their attention to the material, responsiveness, alignment of physical movements with the teacher's instructions, and a reduction in boredom during lessons. Thus, it is concluded that group guidance using simulation game techniques can enhance the learning concentration of Grade VIII students at SMPN 1 Rantepao. Keywords: Group guidance, simulation game technique, learning concentration.
