Abstract

Pendidikan Kristen merupakan proses pembentukan iman, yang seharusnya dimulai sejak masa pranatal. Namun masih terdapat perbedaan persepsi orang tua mengenai pentingnya Pendidikan Kristen pada masa pranatal. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis persepsi orang tua mengenai Pendidikan Kristen pada masa pranatal di Lembang Maroson. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar orang tua memahami pentingnya Pendidikan Kristen pada masa pranatal dan menerapkannya melalui doa,pembacaan firman dan memperdengarkan lagu-lagu rohani kepada janin. Namun masih terdapat orang tua yang belum menerapkannya secara optimal. Kata Kunci: Persepsi Orang Tua, Pendidikan Kristen, Masa Pranatal ABSTRACT Christian Education is a proces of faith formation that should begin as early as the prenatal period. However, parents still have different perceptions regarding the importance of providing Chrictian Education to children while they are still in the womb. This study aims to analyze parents’ perceptions of Christian Education during the prental period in Lembang Maroson. The study employed a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using data reducation, data display, and conlusion drawing. The finding indicate the most parents understand the importance of Christian Education during the prenatal period and apply it through prayer, Bible reading, and listening to Christian songs with the unborn child. However, some parents have not yet implemented it optimally. Therefore, increasing parents’ understanding of the importance of Christian Education from the prenatal period is essential as a foundation for children’s faith development.
