Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran pemimpin terhadap keterlibatan pemuda dalam pelayanan gereja di GPSDI jemaat Dassiriri. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori servant leadership yang dikemukakan oleh Robert K. Greenleaf. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gembala telah menjalankan perannya sebagai pemimpi rohani, pendidik, pemberita firman, teladan bagi jemaat. Namun, peran tersebut belum dilakukan secara optimal dalam pembinaan pemuda, pemuda masih merasa kurang mendapatkan perhatian, pendampingan, pelatihan, motivasi, dan kesempatan untuk terlibat aktif dalam pelayanan gereja. Temuan ini menyatakan bahwa peran gembala terhadap keterlibatan pemuda dalam pelayanan gereja belum berjalan secara optimal. Kata kunci: Peran, Pemimpin, pemuda, pelayanan. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the role of leaders in youth involvement in church ministry in the GPSDI Dassiriri congregation. The theory used in this study is the servant leadership theory proposed by Robert K. Greenleaf. This study employed a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, literature review, and documentation. The results indicate that pastors have fulfilled their roles as spiritual leaders, educators, preachers, and role models for the congregation. However, these roles have not been optimally implemented in youth development. Youth still feel they receive insufficient attention, guidance, training, motivation, and opportunities to actively participate in church services. These findings suggest that the pastor's role in youth involvement in church services has not been optimal. Keywords: Role, Leader, youth, service.
