Abstract
Analisis Peran Guru Bimbingan Dan Konseling Dalam Membantu Perencanaan Karir Siswa Kelas XI.1 SMA Negeri 3 Tana Toraja. IAKN Toraja, 2026. Banyak siswa SMA masih bingung menentukan arah karir dan memilih berdasarkan pengaruh teman, bukan potensi diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran guru BK dalam membantu perencanaan karir siswa kelas XI.1 SMA Negeri 3 Tana Toraja berdasarkan tujuh indikator peran menurut Sardiman (2003), Prayitno dan Erman Amti (2004), serta Tohirin (2013), meliputi fasilitator, motivator, informator, pembimbing, konselor, pengembang potensi, dan pencegah masalah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi terhadap satu guru BK dan enam siswa secara purposive sampling, dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman, dan diuji melalui triangulasi. Hasil menunjukkan enam indikator terpenuhi penuh dan satu indikator (pengembang potensi) terpenuhi sebagian karena instrumen tes minat-bakat belum terstandar. ABSTRACT Analysis of the Role of Guidance and Counseling Teachers in Assisting Career Planning of Grade XI.1 Students at SMA Negeri 3 Tana Toraja. IAKN Toraja, 2026. Many high school students still experience difficulties in determining their career direction and tend to make career choices based on peer influence rather than their own potential. This study aims to analyze the role of guidance and counseling teachers in assisting the career planning of Grade XI.1 students at SMA Negeri 3 Tana Toraja based on seven role indicators proposed by Sardiman (2003), Prayitno and Erman Amti (2004), and Tohirin (2013), including facilitator, motivator, informant, advisor, counselor, potential developer, and problem prevention. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving one guidance and counseling teacher and six students selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model and validated through triangulation techniques. The results showed that six indicators were fully fulfilled, while one indicator, namely potential development, was partially fulfilled due to the lack of standardized interest and aptitude assessment instruments.
