Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam pembentukan disiplin belajar siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 7 Sesean. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan jenis penelitian lapangan. Teori yang digunakan adalah peran guru PAK menurut Sudiarjo Purba yang mencakup enam peran, yaitu pendamping yang memberi teladan, konselor, motivator, fasilitator, evaluator, dan gembala, serta indikator disiplin belajar menurut Arliyus dkk. yang meliputi ketaatan terhadap tata tertib, ketaatan mengerjakan tugas, ketaatan terhadap waktu belajar, dan kesungguhan dalam belajar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan teknik analisis data berupa reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAK telah menjalankan keenam perannya, dengan peran sebagai pendamping yang memberi teladan berjalan paling optimal. Namun peran konselor, motivator, fasilitator, evaluator, dan gembala belum berjalan sepenuhnya optimal. Disiplin belajar siswa menunjukkan perkembangan nyata pada keempat indikator, namun masih bertumpu pada pengawasan eksternal dan belum sepenuhnya lahir dari kesadaran diri siswa. ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the role of Christian Religious Education teachers in developing the learning discipline of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 7 Sesean. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and field research design. The theoretical framework used is the role of Christian Religious Education teachers according to Sudiarjo Purba, which encompasses six roles: exemplary companion, counselor, motivator, facilitator, evaluator, and shepherd, as well as learning discipline indicators according to Arliyus et al., which include obedience to school rules, compliance in completing assignments, adherence to study time, and earnestness in learning. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the Christian Religious Education teacher has carried out all six roles, with the role of exemplary companion being the most optimally performed. However, the roles of counselor, motivator, facilitator, evaluator, and shepherd have not yet been fully optimized. Students' learning discipline shows tangible progress across all four indicators, yet it still relies heavily on external supervision and has not fully emerged from the students' own inner awareness.
