Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis strategi Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) yang adaptif dan inovatif untuk merevitalisasi nilai gotong royong pada Generasi Z di Jemaat Sibunuan. Nilai gotong royong sebagai identitas budaya bangsa mengalami pergeseran akibat globalisasi dan digitalisasi, sehingga generasi muda cenderung individualistik dan kurang terlibat dalam kegiatan sosial maupun pelayanan gereja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi kepustakaan, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi PAK yang adaptif dan inovatif dapat dilakukan melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek pelayanan sosial, pemanfaatan media digital, serta pendekatan kontekstual yang relevan dengan karakteristik Generasi Z. Kesimpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa strategi tersebut mampu menghidupkan kembali semangat gotong royong, sehingga gereja dapat membentuk generasi muda yang beriman sekaligus memiliki karakter sosial yang kuat. ABSTRACT This study analyzes adaptive and innovative strategies in Christian Religious Education (CRE) to revitalize the value of gotong royong (mutual cooperation) among Generation Z in Jemaat Sibunuan. As a cultural identity, gotong royong has shifted due to globalization and digitalization, making young people more individualistic and less engaged in social and church activities. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, collecting data through literature review, observation, and interviews. The findings indicate that adaptive and innovative CRE strategies can be implemented through project-based social service, digital media utilization, and contextual approaches relevant to Generation Z. The study concludes that such strategies successfully revive the spirit of gotong royong, enabling the church to nurture a generation that is both faithful and socially responsible.
