Abstract

Maraknya penggunaan game digital di kalangan remaja, khususnya di Gereja Toraja Mamasa Jemaat Nipa-Nipa Makassar, menimbulkan kekhawatiran akan pengaruhnya terhadap nilai-nilai moral, seperti munculnya sikap kasar, tidak jujur, dan mengabaikan tanggung jawab. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana game digital berkontribusi terhadap pembentukan amoralitas remaja. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada teori etika moral K. Bertens, yang menyoroti pentingnya otonomi moral, hati nurani, dan tanggung jawab individu, serta didukung oleh prinsip-prinsip etika Kristen. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap remaja, orang tua, dan pendeta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa game digital memengaruhi perilaku remaja, melemahkan kepekaan moral, serta menurunkan kesadaran terhadap nilai-nilai seperti kejujuran, kesabaran, dan tanggung jawab. Peran orang tua dan gereja menjadi kunci penting dalam pembinaan moral remaja. Kata Kunci: Game digital, Amoralitas, Remaja, Etika, Pembinaan. ABSTRACT The widespread use of digital games among adolescents, particularly in the Toraja Mamasa Church, Nipa-Nipa Congregation, Makassar, has raised concerns about its impact on moral values, such as the emergence of rudeness, dishonesty, and neglect of responsibility. The purpose of this study is to analyze how digital games contribute to the formation of adolescent immorality. This research is based on K. Bertens' moral ethics theory, which emphasizes the importance of moral autonomy, conscience, and individual responsibility, and is supported by Christian ethical principles. The method used is descriptive qualitative, using interview techniques, observation, and documentation with adolescents, parents, and pastors. The results of the study indicate that digital games influence adolescent behavior, weaken moral sensitivity, and reduce awareness of values such as honesty, patience, and responsibility. The role of parents and the church is an important key in the moral development of adolescents. Keywords: Digital games, Immorality, Teenagers, Ethics, Guidance.
