Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi model pendidikan Kristen andragogi dalam membangun kebersamaan masyarakat saroan di Lembang Ma’dong, khususnya dalam memulihkan relasi sosial yang terganggu akibat konflik internal dan pergeseran nilai. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif. Teori andragogi Knowles dan solidaritas sosial Durkheim menjadi landasan analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem saroan yang awalnya berfungsi sebagai sarana gotong-royong, dan pengikat kebersamaan, dalam pelaksanaannya mengalami pergeseran nilai sehingga memicu konflik, persaingan status sosial, dan ketegangan antar kelompok. Pendidikan Kristen andragogi dengan pendekatan partisipatif, dialogis, dan kontekstual efektif menanamkan kembali nilai kasih, pengampunan, kesetaraan, dan tanggung jawab sosial. Meski efektif di lingkungan gereja, pendekatan ini masih terbatas dalam menjembatani konflik antar kelompok saroan. Namun, integrasi pendidikan Kristen andragogi dengan peran aktif gereja dan tokoh adat, serta dialog lintas kelompok, terbukti mampu membentuk kesadaran kolektif baru dan memperkuat solidaritas sosial. Dengan demikian, saroan dapat kembali menjadi wadah pemersatu masyarakat secara harmonis. Kata Kunci: Pendidikank Kristen, Saroan, Andragogi, Kebersamaan, Masyarakat. ABSTRACT This study aims to develop and evaluate a model of andragogical Christian education for building togetherness within the saroan community in Lembang Ma'dong, particularly in restoring social relations disrupted by internal conflict and shifting values. Using qualitative methods with an ethnographic approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and participant observation. Knowles' andragogy and Durkheim's theories of social solidarity served as the basis for the analysis. The results indicate that the saroan system, which initially functioned as a means of mutual cooperation and a bond of togetherness, has experienced a shift in values during its implementation, triggering conflict, competition for social status, and tension between groups. Andragogical Christian education, with its participatory, dialogical, and contextual approach, effectively reinstills the values of love, forgiveness, equality, and social responsibility. Although effective in church settings, this approach remains limited in bridging conflicts between saroan groups. However, the integration of andragogical Christian education with the active role of the church and traditional leaders, as well as cross-group dialogue, has proven effective in fostering a new collective consciousness and strengthening social solidarity. Thus, saroan can once again become a vehicle for harmonious community unification. Keywords: Christian Education, Saroan, Andragogy, Togetherness, Society.
