Abstract
Kemampuan membaca permulaan yang menjadi dasar penting untuk pemahaman bacaan yang komprehensif di kemudian hari. Membaca sendiri adalah proses yang dilakukan oleh pembaca agar mendapatkan pesan yang disampaikan penulis melalui media bahasa tertulis. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kamampuan membaca prmulaan pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekan deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian 19 orang, 18 orang anak di kelas B dan 1 guru yang mengajar di kelas B. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa 1). Kemampuan membaca permulaan pada anak usia dini sudah berkembang baik dengan bantuan guru. 2). Dalam mengembangkan kemampuan pembelajaran berbasis demonstrasi, pembelaajaran berbasis proyek, dan pembelajaran berbasis kreativitas. Kata kunci : Strategi guru, Kemampuan Membaca Permulaan. Abstract The ability to read at an early stage is an important foundation for comprehensive reading comprehension later in life. Reading independently is a process undertaken by the reader in order to grasp the message conveyed by the writer through the medium of written language. This study aims to describe the early reading abilities of young children. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with 19 subjects, consisting of 18 children in class B and 1 teacher who teaches in class B. Data collection techniques in this study include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that: 1). The ability to read at an early stage in young children has developed well with the help of the teacher. 2). In developing learning strategies based on demonstration, project-based learning, and creativity-based learning. Keywords: Master Strategies, Early Reading Ability.
