Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya persoalan di lapangan di mana strategi guru PAKmasih sangat monoton, yang terjadi di lapangan bahwa guru tidak mengajak peserta didiknya berdoa, bernyanyi dan tidak membaca Alkitab sebelum belajar guru langsung menjelaskan materi yang akan diajarkan lalu memberikan buku paket ke peserta didik kemudian salah satu siswa ditunjuk untuk mendikte teman-temannya. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Strategi Guru PAK dalam Mengembangkan Nilai-nilai Kristiani Peserta Didik di SMPN 4 Datubaringan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi lapangan. Peneliti menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi untuk menjawab tujuan dari penelitian. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan strategi yang digunakan guru PAK yang mampu dalam mengembangkan nilai-nilai kristiani peserta didik di SMPN 4 Datubaringan. Yaitu strategi dengan menjadi teladan bagi peserta didik, kemudian mencerminkan sifat-sifat nilai-nilai kristiani selain itu mengajarkan peserta didik tentang pentingnya membaca dan memahami Alkitab, dan membantu peserta didik memahami pentingnya ibadah dan doa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the existence of problems in the field where the strategy of PAK teachers is still very monotonous, what happens in the field is that teachers do not invite their students to pray, sing and do not read the Bible before learning the teacher directly explains the material to be taught then gives the textbook to the students then one of the students is appointed to dictate to his friends. Therefore, this study aims to describe the PAK Teacher Strategy in Developing Christian Values of Students at SMPN 4 Datubaringan. This study uses a qualitative method with a field study approach. Researchers use interviews, observations, and documentation to answer the objectives of the study. In this study, researchers found strategies used by PAK teachers who are able to develop Christian values of students at SMPN 4 Datubaringan. This is a strategy of being a role model for students, then reflecting Christian values, besides teaching students about the importance of reading and understanding the Bible, and helping students understand the importance of worship and prayer in everyday life.
