Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis Peran mentor Pusat Pengembangan Anak berdasarkan Teori Paul D Stanley dan Robert Clinton dalam meningkatkan spiritual anak remaja usia 12-14 tahun di PPA Bina Kasih. Permasalahan utama adalah rendahnya keterlibatan anak dalam pembelajaran akibat kurangnya minat dan metode pengajaran yang monoton, yang berdampak pada pertumbuhan spiritual mereka. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi peran mentor berdasarkan teori Paul D Stanley dan Robert Clinton. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mentor berperan penting sebagai pembimbing dan konselor yang aktif menanamkan nilai spiritual melalui pengajaran Firman Tuhan, pembiasaan ibadah, doa, dan membaca Alkitab secara konsisten. Pendekatan yang sabar dan suportif dari mentor mampu meningkatkan kedewasaan dan ketaatan rohani anak. Keberhasilan ini juga dipengaruhi metode pembimbingan yang terus berkembang untuk mengoptimalkan potensi setiap anak. Kata Kunci: Peran Mentor, Pusat Pengembangan Anak, Spiritual, ABSTRACT This study analyzes the role of mentors at the Child Development Center based on Paul D Stanley and Robert Clinton Theory in improving the spirituality of adolescents aged 12-14 years at PPA Bina Kasih. The main problem is the low invlvement of children in learning due to lack of interest and monotonous teaching methods, which have an impact on their spiritual growth. The purpose of the study was to identify the role of mentors based on the theory of Paul D Stanley and Robert Clinton. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate the mentors play an important role as guides and counselors who actively instill spiritual values through teaching the Word of God, habitiating worship, prayer, and reading the Bible cosistently. The patient and supportive approach of mentor is able to improve the maturity and spiritual obedience of children.
