Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis peran guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam mengatasi perilaku bullying pada siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 2 Sopai. Bullying merupakan permasalahan yang masih sering terjadi di lingkungan sekolah, meskipun edukasi dan upaya pencegahan telah dilakukan secara rutin. Guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen memiliki peran penting dalam mengatasi perilaku bullying di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen, siswa kelas VII. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen menjalankan berbagai peran penting yaitu sebagai pendidik, pembimbing, pengajar, pelatih, sahabat, fasilitator dan pemberita Injil. Masing-masing peran berkontribusi dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai iman Kristen, membina hubungan sehat antar siswa serta mencegah dan mengatasi kasus bullying. Dengan demikian, guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen memiliki peranan penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang aman dan damai. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Agama Kristen, Bullying, Peran Guru. ABSTRACT This study aims to identify and analize the role of Christian Reigions Education teachers in addressing bullying behavior among seventh-grade students at Junior High School 2 Sopai. Bullying remains a common issue in schools, despite continuous efforts and socialization programs to prevent it. Christian Religious Education teachers play a strategic role in shaping students charater based on values of love, tolerance, and respect for others. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were collected through interviews, observaitions and documentation. The research subjects included Christian Religious Education teachers and seventh-grade students. The data were analyzed qualitatively to describe the teachers roles comprehensively. The findings indicate that Chritian Religious Education teachers play multiple important roles, including as educators, mentors, instructors, trainers, companions, facilitators, and proclaimers of the Gospel. Each of these roles contributes to instilling Christian values, fostering healthy student relationship. Therefore, Chritian Religious Education teachers have a crucial role in creating a safe and peaceful. Keywords: Christian Religious Education, Bullying, Teacher Role
