Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) dalam menanamkan sikap kepedulian sosial pada siswa di UPT SDN 6 Makale. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PAK memainkan peran penting dalam pembentukan karakter siswa, terutama dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai kasih, empati, toleransi, dan keadilan sosial. Guru PAK menjadi teladan nyata dalam kehidupan sehari-hari siswa, dan hal ini mendorong siswa untuk mengembangkan sikap peduli terhadap sesama. Proses pembelajaran juga difokuskan pada kegiatan-kegiatan yang menumbuhkan kesadaran sosial, seperti kerja sama, pelayanan, dan penghargaan terhadap perbedaan. Dengan demikian, PAK telah berkontribusi secara nyata dalam membentuk siswa yang tidak hanya beriman, tetapi juga memiliki kepedulian sosial yang tinggi. Kata Kunci: Kepedulian, Pendidikan Agama Kristen, Sosial ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the role of Christian Religious Education (CRE) in instilling social concern among students at UPT SDN 6 Makale. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that CRE plays a significant role in shaping students’ character, particularly in teaching the values of love, empathy, tolerance, and social justice. CRE teachers serve as role models in students' daily lives, encouraging them to develop a caring attitude toward others. The learning process emphasizes activities that foster social awareness, such as collaboration, service, and respect for differences. Therefore, CRE has made a concrete contribution to forming students who are not only faithful but also socially responsible. Keywords: Care, Christian Religious Education, Social.
