Abstract
ABSTRACT The film Vina: Before 7 Days presents the tragic reality of sexual violence against women in the Indonesian social context, which is then analyzed through a feminist theological approach. This study aims to examine how women's bodies are positioned in the narrative of violence through the lens of feminist theology, as well as the experiences of victims, especially the character Vina. The research method used is a qualitative approach with narrative analysis techniques on films and theological literature excavation, especially Nicola Slee's Christa theory. Primary data were obtained from direct observation of the film, while secondary data were obtained from relevant literature. The results of the study show that this film displays four main forms of violence against women: sexual, physical, psychological violence, and legal discrimination. Vina's body becomes a symbol of the suffering of women who have not received justice, showing the failure of the legal system as well as the silence of religious institutions. The feminist theological approach shows that this suffering is not only social, but also spiritual. The implications of these findings encourage churches, academics, and society to strengthen the voices of victims and reorganize power relations that are more just and equal. Keywords: Violence against Women, Feminist Theology, Vina Film: Before 7 Days, Christa.
