Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Pelaksanaan Pendidikan Agama Kristen Dalam Keluarga Menurut Perspektif Horace Bushnell Bagi Generasi Alpha Di Jemaat Sibunuan” penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh anak generasi alpha yang berperilaku kasar, tidak pergi beribadah, sering berbicara kotor dan tidak sopan kepada teman bahkan kepada orang tua. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis pelaksanaan Pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam keluarga menurut perspektif Horace Bushnel bagi generasi alpha di jemaat Sibunuan. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi dan wawancara kepada sembilan informan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan reduksi, display dan interpretasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pelaksanaan Pendidikan Agama Kristen berdasarkan perspektif Horace Bushnell bagi Generasi Alpha di Jemaat Sibunuan masih kurang. Hal ini dilihat dari masih ada keluarga yang tidak melakukan berdoa bersama, menceritakan Alkitab kepada anak, jarang melakukan makan bersama, hal ini terjadi karena kesibukan. selain itu orang tua tidak memberikan teladan yang baik seperti pergi beribadah, masih sering berkata kasar kepada anak, banyak melarang anak melakukan sesuatu karena terlalu khawatir. Kata kunci: Pendidikan Agama Kristen Keluarga, Horace Bushnell, Generasi alpha.  ABSTRACT This study is titled “Analysis of the Implementation of Christian Religious Education in Families According to Horace Bushnell's Perspective for the Alpha Generation in the Sibunuan Congregation.” The study was motivated by the behavior of the alpha generation, who are rude, do not attend worship services, often use foul language, and are disrespectful to their friends and even their parents. The objective of this study is to analyze the implementation of Christian religious education within families according to Horace Bushnell's perspective for the Alpha generation in the Sibunuan congregation. The method used is descriptive qualitative research through observation and interviews with nine informants. The data analysis techniques employed include data reduction, display, and interpretation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Christian Religious Education based on Horace Bushnell's perspective for the Alpha generation in the Sibunuan congregation is still lacking. This is evident from the fact that some families do not pray together, do not read the Bible to their children, and rarely eat together, which is due to their busy schedules. Additionally, parents do not set a good example, such as attending worship services, often speak harshly to their children, and frequently prohibit their children from doing things out of excessive concern.
