Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya penerapan nilai kejujuran oleh siswa, yang terlihat dari kebiasaan menyontek saat ujian, berbohong ketika meminta izin, dan kurangnya tanggung jawab terhadap tugas. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan integritas guru dalam mengembangkan karakter jujur siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen yang berintegritas dalam mengembangkan karakter jujur siswa di kelas X TKJ SMK Kristen Makale. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integritas guru PAK yang tercermin melalui sikap jujur, disiplin, bertanggung jawab, konsisten, dan menjadi teladan berkontribusi signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter jujur siswa. Siswa yang berada di bawah bimbingan guru berintegritas lebih mudah memahami dan meneladani nilai kejujuran dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya keteladanan guru serta dukungan lingkungan sekolah yang berkelanjutan. Kata kunci: Integritas, guru PAK, karakter jujur, siswa, keteladanan. ABSTRACT The problem in this study is the low level of honesty values implemented by students, which is seen from the habit of cheating on exams, lying when asking for permission, and lack of responsibility for assignments. Therefore, teacher integrity is needed in developing students' honest character. This study aims to describe the role of Christian Religious Education teachers with integrity in developing honest character in class X TKJ students at Makale Christian Vocational School. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the integrity of Christian Religious Education teachers, which is manifested through honesty, discipline, responsibility, consistency, and being a role model, contributes significantly to the formation of students' honest character. Students under the guidance of teachers with integrity are more easily able to understand and emulate the value of honesty in everyday life. This study emphasizes the importance of teacher role models and sustainable school environmental support.
