Abstract

Desi Rendealla, "Pastoral Budaya Mangadai' Dalam Mewujudkan Resolusi Konflik Bagi Masyarakat Kalumpang". Di bawah bimbingan bapak Dr. Agustinus, M.Th. dan bapak Dr. Frans Paillin Rumbi, M.Th. Kehadiran adat istiadat atau tradisi dalam tatanan masyarakat semestinya menjadi sarana untuk mewujudkan masyarakat yang bermoral dan terciptanya harmonisasi yang baik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari antar sesama masyarakat. Dalam kehidupan masyarakat Kalumpang di Kabupaten Mamuju yang telah lama hidup dalam kehidupan tradisi Adat dan Budaya yang masih sangat kental dan dijaga secara turun temurun sampai saat ini. Melalui adat istiadatlah mereka membangun relasi dengan sesama bahkan mampu menyelesaikan berbagai problematika kehidupan bermasyarakat. Dalam kehidupan masyarakat Kalumpang, Mangadai' merupakan suatu proses yang dilakukan lembaga Adat dalam menyelesaikan suatu konflik yang terjadi dalam masyarakat baik itu konflik antar kelompok maupun antar individu, dan adat ini masih dijaga dengan baik bahkan masih diberlakukan dalam kehidupan sosial masyarakat Kalumpang. Adat ini digunakan oleh masyarakat sebagai upaya yang dijalankan Lembaga adat dalam lingkungan masyarakat untuk menyelesaikan suatu problem atau permasalahan, yang terjadi di kalangan masyarakat. Dalam hal ini penulis melihat bahwa keberadaan adat Mangadai' ini memiliki fungsi dan peranan yang sangat penting sebagai Pastoral dalam tatanan kehidupan masyarakat terlebih khusus dalam penyelesaian konflik yang terjadi diantara masyarakat. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif yang merampungkan data-data dari lokasi penelitian dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi secara langsung terhadap informan yang penulis anggap dapat memberikan informasi secara jelas dan akurat. In the life of the Kalumpang community in Mamuju Regency, who have long lived in a traditional and cultural life that is still very strong and has been maintained front generation to generation until now. It is through customs that they build relationships with each other and are even able to solve various problems of community life. In the life of the Kalumpang community, Mangadai is a process carried out by traditional institutions in resolving conflicts that occur in society, both conflicts between groups and between individuals, and this custom is still well maintained and even still enforced in the social life of the Kalumpang community. This custom is used by the community as an upava carried out by the Customary Institution in the Community Environment to resolve a problem or issue that occurs in the community, In this case the author sees that the existence of the Mangadai custom has a very important funetion and role as Pastoral in the order of community life, especially in resolving conflicts that occur between communities The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach that completes data from the research location by means of observation, interviews and direct documentation of informants who the author considers to be able to provide elear and accurate Information.
