Abstract

Group investigation adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif yang melibatkan kelompok kecil di mana siswa berkolaborasi melalui perencanaan inkuiri, proyek, dan diskusi kelompok, kemudian mempresentasikan hasil temuan mereka kepada seluruh kelas. Ranah kognitif adalah penilaian yang menekankan pada pengembangan kemampuan dan keterampilan intelektual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group investigation terhadap hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa kelas IX di SMPN Satap 5 Gandasil. Latar belakang masalah menunjukkan bahwa metode seperti ceramah membuat siswa pasif dan berdampak negatif pada pencapaian kognitif. Model pembelajaran Group investigation dipilih karena mengutamakan kerja sama kelompok, keterlibatan aktif, dan investigasi mendalam terhadap materi. Penelitian ini menggemakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen, melibatkan satu kelas sebagai sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model Group investigation yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar ranah kognitif dengan nilai signifikan 0,032 < 0,05 dan persentase pengaruh sebesar 28,7%. ABSTRACT Group investigation is a cooperative learning model involving small groups where students collaborate through inquiry planning, projects, and group discussions, then present the results of their findings to the entire class. The cognitive domain is an assessment that emphasizes the development of intellectual abilities and skills. This research aims to analyze the influence of the Group investigation type cooperative learning model on learning outcomes in the cognitive domain of class IX students at SMPN Satap 5 Gandasil. The background of the problem shows that methods such as lectures make students passive and have a negative impact on cognitive achievement. The Group investigation learning model was chosen because it prioritizes group collaboration, active involvement, and in-depth investigation of the material. This research uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods, involving one class as a research sample. The research results show that there is a significant influence of the Group investigation model on learning outcomes in the cognitive domain with a significant value of0.032 <0.05 and an influence percentage of28.7%.
