Abstract
Abstrak Maya Anelies, 2024. Analisis Kompetensi Pedagogis Terhadap Mentor Berdasarkan Asas Pedagogis Yohanes Amos Comenius di PPA ID 0820 Sangkutu’ Banne Lembang Rantebua Sumalu. Pembimbing 1, Dr. Syani Bombongan Rante Salu, M.Pd. K. Dan Pembimbing II Desti Samarenna, M. Th. Penelitian ini berfokus pada masalah kurangnya kreativitas mentor di pusat pengembangan anak. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini digunakan teori dasar asas pengajaran Yohanes Amos Comenius yang meliputi asas mengajarkan ilmu pengetahuan, asas mengajarkan seni rupa, asas mengajarkan bahasa asing dan asas mengajarkan kebajikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskdriptif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara dan observasi dan juga analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan asas pedagogis Yohanes Amos Comenius berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogis mentor termasuk dalam aspek kreativitas. Asas ini membuktikan bahwa metode pengajaran Yohanes Amos Comenius dapat adaptasi secara efektif dalam konteks pendidikan modern, sehingga meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran dan kreativitas mentor di PPA. Analysis of the Pedagogical Competency of Mentors Based on the Pedagogical Principles of Yohanes Amos Comenius in PPA ID 0820 Sangkutu’ Banne Lembang Rantebua Sumalu. Supervisor I Dr. Syani Bombongan Rante Salu, M.Pd. K. And Supervisor II Desti Samarenna, M.Th. This research focuses on the problem of lack of mentor creativity in child development centers. To overcome this problem, John Amos Comenius basic theory of teaching principles is used, which includes the principles of teaching foreign science, the principles of teaching fine arts, the principles of teaching foreign languages and principles of teaching virtue. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method by collecting data trough interviews and observations as well as document analysis. The research result showed that the application of Yohanes Amos Comenius pedagogical principles succeeded in increasing the mentors pedagogical competence, including in the aspect of creativity. This principle proves that Yohanes Amos Comenius teaching methods can be adapted effectively in the context of modern education, thereby improving the quality of teaching and creativity of mentors at Child Development Center.
