Abstract

ABSTRAK Stres akademik merupakan tantangan yang sering dihadapi oleh mahasiswa, termasuk mereka yang belajar di Program Studi Pastoral Konseling di Institut Agama Kristen Negeri (IAKN) Toraja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan bentuk perencanaan konseling pastoral terhadap mahasiswa prodi pastoral konseling yang mengalami stres akademik di IAKN Toraja. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian fenomenologi. Informasi diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan mahasiswa. Langkah-langkah perencanaan konseling pastoral termasuk identifikasi tantangan utama terkait stres akademik, penggunaan teknik seperti problem free-talk, scaling question, miracle question, exceptions, dan teknik flagging the minefield. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian A menghadapi stres akademik yang bersumber pada bidang pendidikan, hubungan sosial, dan kondisi keluarga. Beberapa diantaranya berhubungan dengan keyakinan diri, kepercayaan pada kemampuan, dan harapan akan prestasi, sementara yang lain berkaitan dengan tekanan eksternal dan situasi lingkungan. Oleh karena itu perencanaan konseling akan dilakukan dengan empat tahapan. Kata kunci: Konseling Pastoral, Stres Akademik, Solution-Focused Brief Counseling. ABSTRACT Academic stress is a common challenge faced by students, including those studying in the Pastoral Counseling Program at the State Institute of Christian Religion (IAKN) Toraja. This study aims to outline the form of pastoral counseling planning for students in the pastoral counseling program experiencing academic stress at IAKN Toraja. This research utilizes phenomenological research. Information was obtained through in-depth interviews with students. Steps in pastoral counseling planning include identifying key challenges related to academic stress, utilizing techniques such as problem-free talk, scaling questions, miracle questions, exceptions, and flagging the minefield technique. Based on the research findings, academic stress among students arises from educational aspects, social relationships, and family conditions. Some are related to self-confidence, belief in abilities, and expectations of achievement, while others are associated with external pressures and environmental situations. Therefore, counseling planning will proceed through four stages. Keywords: Pastoral Counseling, Academic Stress, Solution-Focused Brief Counseling.
