Abstract

Beberapa cara untuk mempelajari sikap konselor profesional yaitu dari buku, jurnal atau bahkan melalui film. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis sikap konselor profesional dalam film animasi Disney Moana dan implikasinya bagi konsleor masa kini. Teori yang digunakan yaitu teori Totok S. Wiryasaputra antaralain sikap empati, tulus hati, percaya pada proses, spontan, tertarik, terbuka, kenal diri, otonom, holistik, dan universalistik. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif studi kepustakaan dengan teknik analisis isi (content analisys). Penulis menemukan bahwa tokoh Moana memiliki sikap yang sesuai dengan sikap konselor yang berguna untuk bersikap tetap teguh menjalani setiap proses, seperti konselor dalam melakukan konseling harus teguh dalam setiap prosesnya. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa sikap konselor pada diri Moana yaitu spontan, tulus hati, holistik, tertarik, otonom, empati, percaya pada proses, dan terbuka. Implikasinya bagi konselor masa kini menjadi acuan saat melakukan konseling dengan menerapkan sikap-sikap konselor yang profesionalsehingga dapat menunjang keberhasilan proses konselong yang dilakukan. Several ways to learn about the attitudes of professional counselors are from books, journals or even through films. The aim of this research is to analyze the attitudes of professional counselors in the Disney animated film Moana and its implications for today's counselors. The theory used is Totok S. Wiryasaputra's theory, including empathy, sincerity, trust in the process, spontaneous, interested, open, self-aware, autonomous, holistic and universalistic. The method used is qualitative literature study with content analysis techniques. The author found that the character Moana has an attitude that is in accordance with the attitude of a counselor which is useful for remaining steadfast in every process, just as counselors in conducting counseling must be steadfast in every process. The research results found that the counselor's attitude towards Moana was spontaneous, sincere, holistic, interested, autonomous, empathetic, confident in the process, and open. Implications for today's counselors are a reference when conducting counseling by applying the attitudes of professional counselors so that they can support the success of the counseling process carried out.
