Abstract

ABSTRACT Sarma Sitorus, 2024, Writing a thesis titled "The Influence of Audiovisual Media on the Learning Outcomes of Second Grade Students at UPT SDN 04 Mengkendek." In this study, the problem is that the audiovisual media facilities at UPT SDN 04 Mengkendek are inadequate for the learning process. Consequently, teachers are not fully capable of mastering technology, and students' learning outcomes are low when media is not used. Audiovisual media, such as images, videos, and slides, are needed. According to AECT (Association of Education and Communication Technology), media is a form of intermediary in conveying messages or information. The choice of media can influence students' learning outcomes. Therefore, this study aims to determine the influence of audiovisual media on the learning outcomes of second-grade students at UPT SDN 04 Mengkendek. This research was developed using a quantitative experimental method by collecting data when respondents filled out questionnaires. The data was then analyzed using normality tests and trials. The results of the study indicate that audiovisual media has an effect on the learning outcomes of second-grade students at UPT SDN 04 Mengkendek. This is evidenced by the results of calculations using a simple linear regression test, which showed a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that audiovisual media (H1) has an effect on students' learning outcomes (H0). Keyword: audio, study, learning outcomes, media, visual
