Abstract
ABSTRAK IKMA HESTI, 2020197094,” Analisis Sosiologis Dampak Berdirinya Monumen Martir Terhadap Relasi Kristen-Islam Di Longa Desa Embonatana. “ Dengan asuhan dosen pembimbing I: Jems Alam, M.Si, dosen pembimbing II: Masnawati, M.Pd. Peristiwa-peristiwa yang bersejarah di Indonesia diabadikan dan dibangunkan monumen seperti halnya yang dilakukan masyarakat Kristen di Longa kecamatan Seko, Kabupaten Luwu Utara, membangun monumen Martir sebagai tempat atau bangunan yang bersejarah untuk mengenang sejarah dan menyimpan peristiwa para Martir yang rela mati syahid mempertahankan imannya dalam Kristus. Pembangunan monumen ini bersejarah tetapi bukan dipahami sebagai bangunan yang dapat mengembalikan ingatan yang pedih, penindasan, pembunuhan dan permusuhan antar beragama. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan relasi Kristen-Islam pasca berdirinya monumen martir di Longa. Jenis metode penelitian yang penulis gunakan didalam penelitian adalah penelitian kualitatif yang terdiri dari observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa sejak berdirinya monumen tidak menimbulkan perpecahan antar umat beragama. Sebaliknya monumen tersebut dilihat sebagai upaya untuk mengenang sejarah dan belajar dari masa lalu tanpa memicu konflik. Kondisi relasi Kristen-Islam pasca pembangunan monumen tetap terjaga dengan baik, menunjukkan kematangan masyarakat dalam menyikapi perbedaan yang ada. "With the care of supervisor I: Jems Alam, M.Si II: Masnawati, M.Pd. Historical events in Indonesia are immortalized and monuments are erected as the case was done by the Christian community in Longa, Seko District, North Luwu Regency, building a Martyr's monument as a historical place or building to commemorate memories and store the events of the martyrs who were willing to die martyrs to defend their faith in Christ. The construction of this monument is historic but not understood as a building that can restore painful memories, oppression, murder and intereligious hostility. The purpose of this study is to explain Christian-Muslim relations after the establishment of the martyrs monument in Longa. The type of research method that the author uses in the research is qualitative research consisting of observation and interviews. The results of the study can be concluded that since the establishment of the monumen has not caused divisions between religious communities. on the contary the monumentis seen as an effort to commemorate history and learn from the past without triggering conflicts. The condition of Islamic-Christian relations ofter the monuments is well maintained showing the maturity of the community in addressing existing differences.
