Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa remaja yang jarang mengikuti ibadah sekolah minggu, tidak serius mengikuti ibadah dan bahkan ada remaja yang sama sekali tidak mengikuti ibadah di gereja selama satu tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis kesetiaan beribadah Sekolah Minggu dalam pembentukan karakter religius remaja di Gereja Toraja Jemaat Kondodewata Klasis Mappak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Berdasarkan teknik yang dilakukan, hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Setia beribadah, rajin berdoa, dan membaca Alkitab, dapat memperkuat pemahaman dan komitmen remaja terhadap iman, serta membentuk karakter cinta damai, anti kekerasan, toleransi, tanggung jawab, dan kesadaran akan hubungan dengan Tuhan. Interaksi sosial dan dukungan komunitas di Sekolah Minggu juga penting dalam mengembangkan sikap saling menghargai dan bekerja sama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari untuk membentuk karakter religius yang utuh dan berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci : Kesetiaan beribadah; sekolah minggu; karakter religius. ABSTRACT This research was motivated by several teenagers who rarely attended Sunday school services, did not attend serious services and there were even teenagers who did not attend church services at all for one year. This research aims to determine the analysis of loyalty to Sunday School worship in the formation of the religious character of teenagers in Gereja Toraja Jemaat Kondodewata Klasis Mappak. The research method used in this research is qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. Based on the techniques used, the research results show that faithful worship, diligent prayer and reading the Bible can strengthen teenagers' understanding and commitment to faith, as well as form the character of loving peace, non-violence, tolerance, responsibility and awareness of their relationship with God. Social interaction and community support in Sunday School are also important in developing attitudes of mutual respect and cooperation in daily life to form a complete and sustainable religious character.
