Abstract

Kata kunci: Efektifitas, pelayanan pastoral dan warga lanjut usia Lanjut usia adalah berkat pemberian Tuhan. Saat seseorang telah dimampukan melewati begitu banyak persoalan dalam menjalani liku kehidupan. Banyak hal yang dirasakan dan dialami oleh warga lanjut usia ketika memasuki usia lanjut seperti sudah tidak mampu lagi dalam bekerjaan karena kondisi fisik sudah terbatas dan sangat membutuhkan pelayanan khusus seperti pelayanan pastoral dari gembala dalam hal ini majelis gereja. Tetapi kenyataan yang ada bahwa pelayanan khusus bagi warga lanjut usia belum maksimal atau belum efektif yang mereka rasakan, secara khusus dalam pelayanan pastoral, dimana pelayanan pastoral merupakan sesuatu haf yang sangat penting bagi warga lanjut usia di Jemaat Kaero. Pelayanan yang diberikan hanya dalam bentuk perkunjungan dalam kondisi sakit, ibadah rumah tangga dan mendapatkan bingkisan satu kali dalam satu tahun dari intra gereja dalam hal ini Persekutuan Wanita Gereja Toraja (PWGT) dan hanya beberapa warga lanjut usia yang mendapatkan bingkisan. Penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan studi kepustakaan yang ada kaitannya dengan, topik kajian dan menggunakan metode kualitatif yakni melakukan wawancara dan obsevasi atau pengamatan dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang bagaimana efektifitas pelayanan pastoral bagi warga lanjut usia.Dalam hasil penelitian ini penulis menyimpulkan bahwa yang menjadi harapan bagi warga lanjut usia yaitu mengaharapkan ada program pelayanan khusus seperti pelayanan pastoral sehingga mereka tidak merasa terabaikan dalam jemaat dan iman percaya mereka tetap teguh. Many things are fe|t and experienced by elderly people as they enter old age, such as being unable to work because their physical condition is limited and in dire need of special Services such as pastoral care from pastors in this case the church assembly. But the fact is that special Services for the elderly have not been maximal or effective yet, especially in pastoral care, where pastoral care is very important for the elderly in the Kaero Church. The Services provided are only in the form of visits in conditions of sickness, Household worship and obtaining a gift once a year from the intra-church in this case the Toraja Church Fellowship (PWGT) and only a few elderly citizens who get gifts. This study, the author uses a literature study that has to do with the topic of study and uses qualitative methods of conducting interviews and observations or observations with the aim of obtaining Information about how effective pastoral care is for the elderly. In the results of this study the authors conclude that the hope for elderly citizens is to expect special Service programs such as pastoral care so that they do not feel neglected in the congregation and their faith remains firm
