Abstract

Yuyun Veramaya Sampe, 2026. MISI DAN SUARA LUKA : "Mengkonstruksi Strategi Misi Terhadap Penyintas Peristiwa DI/TII di Klasis Rongkong Sabbang Baebunta". Dibimbing oleh bapak Dr. Frans P Rumbi, M.Th selaku pembimbing pertama dan bapak Dr. Yohanis Luni Tumanan M.Th selaku pembimbing kedua. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kenyataan historis peristiwa kekerasan gerakan Darul Islam/Tentara Islam Indonesia (DI/TII) di bawah pimpinan Kahar Mudzakkar di Sulawesi Selatan, khususnya pada wilayah pelayanan Gereja Toraja Klasis Rongkong Sabbang Baebunta. Meskipun peristiwa tersebut telah lama berlalu, manifestasi traumatik batiniah, luka spiritual, dan luka psikososial terbukti masih tertinggal dan diwariskan secara antargenerasi. Akibatnya, muncul sisa-sisa penderitaan yang mewujud pada sikap menutup diri, krisis iman, serta tingginya kecurigaan dan riak sosial yang menciptakan sekat kokoh antara warga lokal dan kelompok yang diidentifikasi sebagai "pendatang", bahkan di dalam lingkup internal tata pelayanan dan kehidupan bergereja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan kondisi spiritual dan psikososial korban trauma pasca-DI/TII, menganalisis respons strategi misi yang telah dilakukan oleh gereja, serta merumuskan sebuah strategi misi yang kontekstual dan integratif demi memutus mata rantai trauma dan mendukung pemulihan jemaat yang komprehensif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif-analitis. Tempat penelitian berlokasi di Klasis Rongkong Sabbang Baebunta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa trauma sejarah DI/TII masih eksis dan memengaruhi dinamika psikososial serta spiritual jemaat, seperti timbulnya penolakan terselubung ataupun pencekalan terhadap figur pemimpin pendatang. Penelitian ini mengonstruksi strategi Misi Pemulihan (Healing Mission) yang kontekstual. MISSION AND THE VOICE OF WOUNDS: "Constructing a Mission Strategy for Survivors of the DI/TII Conflict in the Rongkong Sabbang Baebunta Classis." Supervised by Dr. Frans P. Rumbi, M.Th (first supervisor) and Dr. Yohanis Luni Tumanan, M.Th (second supervisor). This research is grounded in the historical reality of the violence perpetrated by the Darul Islam/Tentara Islam Indonesia (DI/TII) movement under the leadership of Kahar Mudzakkar in South Sulawesi, specifically within the service area of the Toraja Church's Rongkong Sabbang Baebunta Classis. Although the events occurred long ago, manifestations of inner trauma, spiritual wounds, and psychosocial wounds persist and have been passed down across generations. Consequently, lingering suffering has emerged, manifesting as withdrawal, crises of faith, and high levels of suspicion and social friction; this has created rigid barriers between local residents and groups identified as "newcomers," even within the internal sphere of church ministry and life. The objectives of this study are to describe the spiritual and psychosocial conditions of post-DI/TII trauma victims, analyze the mission strategy responses implemented by the church, and formulate a contextual and integrative mission strategy to break the cycle of trauma and support the comprehensive recovery of the congregation. The study employs a qualitative approach with descriptive-analytical analysis and was conducted in the Rongkong Sabbang Baebunta Classis. The research findings indicate that the historical trauma of the DI/TII conflict persists and influences the psychosocial and spiritual dynamics of the congregation, evidenced by phenomena such as covert rejection or the barring of leaders who are newcomers.
