Abstract

Konflik terorisme yang terjadi di wilayah Poso telah meninggalkan dampak yang mendalam bagi masyarakat, khususnya anggota Gereja Kristen Sulawesi Tengah (GKST) Jemaat Kalvari Sangginora. Berbagai pengalaman traumatis, seperti penyanderaan, kehilangan anggota keluarga, serta ketakutan akibat ancaman terorisme, masih dirasakan oleh para korban hingga saat ini. Dalam situasi tersebut, gereja memiliki tanggung jawab untuk menghadirkan pendampingan pastoral sebagai wujud kasih dan kepedulian terhadap jemaat yang menderita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bentuk absennya gereja dalam melakukan pendampingan pastoral kepada korban konflik terorisme serta menjelaskan bentuk pendampingan pastoral yang seharusnya dilakukan oleh gereja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gereja pada dasarnya memahami pentingnya pendampingan pastoral sebagai bagian dari tugas panggilannya. Namun, pemahaman tersebut belum diwujudkan secara optimal dalam pelayanan nyata kepada korban. Bentuk absennya gereja terlihat dari tidak adanya pendampingan pastoral yang berkelanjutan dan terarah setelah peristiwa konflik terjadi. Oleh karena itu, gereja perlu mengembangkan pelayanan pastoral yang mencakup fungsi membimbing, menopang, menyembuhkan, mendamaikan, mengasuh, dan mengutuhkan agar korban memperoleh pemulihan secara emosional, sosial, dan spiritual. Kata Kunci: Gereja,pendampingan pastoral, korban konflik terorisme ABSTRACT The terrorism conflict that occurred in the Poso region has left a profound impact on society, particularly on the members of the Central Sulawesi Christian Church (GKST) Kalvari Sangginora congregation. Various traumatic experiences, such as hostage-taking, the loss of family members, and fear caused by the threat of terrorism, are still felt by the victims to this day. In this situation, the church has the responsibility to provide pastoral care as a manifestation of love and concern for the suffering congregation. This study aims to examine the absence of the church in providing pastoral care to victims of the terrorism conflict and to explain the form of pastoral care that the church should implement. The results show that the church basically understands the importance of pastoral care as part of its calling. However, this understanding has not been optimally realized in tangible ministry to the victims. The absence of the church is evident in the lack of sustained and directed pastoral care following the conflict events. Therefore, the church needs to develop a pastoral ministry that encompasses the functions of guiding, sustaining, healing, reconciling, nurturing, and making whole, so that victims can achieve emotional, social, and spiritual recovery.
