Abstract
Degyani Tandi Lamma (2020228961) dengan judul “Analisis Model Sintesis Tradisi Mantunu Tedong dan Narasi Keluaran 12:21-28 di Jemaat Langi'”. Penelitian ini dilakukan oleh penulis untuk menganalisis tradisi Mantunu Tedong yang masih dilaksanakan oleh jemaat Gereja Toraja Jemaat Langi' di tengah ketegangan antara pemahaman Aluk Todolo dan iman Kristen tentang makna keselamatan, menggunakan metode kualitatif berbasis field research melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap enam informan, yang dianalisis dengan teknik flow chart analysis dan model sintesis Stephen B. Bevans dalam kerangka teologi kontekstual. Tradisi Mantunu Tedong mengandung nilai kasih, penghormatan, dan solidaritas komunal yang diwujudkan melalui pengurbanan kerbau sebagai tanda penghormatan kepada keluarga yang telah meninggal, sementara narasi Keluaran 12:21 memuat makna ketaatan dan keselamatan yang bersumber dari karya Allah melalui darah anak domba Paskah. Melalui model sintesis Bevans, penulis menemukan bahwa ada empat hasil sintesis teologis antara tradisi Mantunu Tedong dan narasi Keluaran 12:21, yaitu pengurbanan sebagai wujud kasih dan ketaatan, sebagai ungkapan kasih dan penghormatan kepada anggota keluarga yang telah meninggal, sebagai nilai kebersamaan dan solidaritas, serta sebagai tindakan yang memiliki nilai religius dan makna simbolis yang mendalam. ABSTRACT Degyani Tandi Lamma (2020228961) with the title "An Analysis of the Synthesis Model of the Mantunu Tedong Tradition and the Narrative of Exodus 12:21-28 in the Langi' Congregation." This research was conducted by the author to analyze the Mantunu Tedong tradition still practiced by the congregation of the Toraja Church at Langi' amid the tension between the Aluk Todolo understanding and the Christian faith regarding the meaning of salvation, using a qualitative method based on field research through observation, interviews, and documentation involving six informants, analyzed using flow chart analysis technique and Stephen B. Bevans' synthesis model within the framework of contextual theology. The Mantunu Tedong tradition contains values of love, respect, and communal solidarity expressed through the sacrifice of a buffalo as a sign of honor for the deceased family member, while the narrative of Exodus 12:21 carries a meaning of obedience and salvation rooted in God's saving work through the blood of the Passover lamb. Through Bevans' synthesis model, the author found four theological synthesis results between the Mantunu Tedong tradition and the narrative of Exodus 12:21-28, namely sacrifice as an expression of love and obedience, as an expression of love and respect for deceased family members, as a value of togetherness and solidarity, and as an act that carries profound religious value and symbolic meaning.
