Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk partisipasi anggota jemaat dalam pembangunan gedung gereja dalam pembangunan gedung gereja dengan pendekatan pastoral di Jemaat Tamuang. Pembangunan gedung gereja tidak hanya berfokus pada penyediaan sarana ibadah, tetapi juga menjadi wujud tanggung jawab, kebersamaan, dan penghayatan iman seluruh anggota jemaat. penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi terhadap proponen, ketua majelis, dan anggota jemaat di Jemaat Tamuang. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif melalui proses reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi anggota jemaat diwujudkan melalui pemberian dana,tenaga material, serta keterlibatan dalam musyawara dan pengambilan keputusan selama proses pembangunan gedung gereja. Partisipasi tersebut didorong oelh motivasi iman, rasa memiliki terhadap gereja, serta semangat kebersamaan dalam kehidupan bergereja. Pendekatan pastoral berperan dalam membangun kesadaran jemaat, memberikan pendampingan, penguatan, dan motivasi serta mempererat hubungan antara anggota jemaat sehingga mendorong keterlibatan aktif dalam pembangunan gedung gereja. Pendekatan pastoral memberikan kontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi anggota jemaat sehingga pembangunan gedung gereja tidak hanya menghasilkan sarana fisik untuk beribadah, tetapi juga memperkuat persekutuan, tanggung jawab bersama, dan pertumbuhan rohani jemaat di Jemaat Tamuang. ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the form of participation of congregation members in the construction of church buildings in the construction of church buildings with a pastoral approach in the Tamuang Congregation. The construction of church buildings does not only focus on providing worship facilities, but also becomes a form of responsibility, togetherness, and the appreciation of faith of all congregation members. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Data were obtained through interviews and documentation of proponents, chairpersons of the council, and congregation members in the Tamuang Congregation. Data were analyzed descriptively through the process of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the participation of congregation members is realized through the provision of funds, material labor, and involvement in deliberations and decision-making during the process of building the church building. This participation is driven by the motivation of faith, a sense of belonging to the church, and a spirit of togetherness in church life. The pastoral approach plays a role in building congregation awareness, providing assistance, strengthening, and motivation and strengthening relationships between congregation members so as to encourage active involvement in the construction of the church building. The pastoral approach makes a positive contribution in increasing the participation of congregation members so that the construction of the church building not only produces physical facilities for worship, but also strengthens fellowship, shared responsibility, and spiritual growth of the congregation in the Tamuang Congregation.
