Abstract

Tamar Tangke. “Analisis Strategi Pemimpin dalam Memulihkan Relasi di Pangkung Batu Pasca Pemilihan Kepala Lembang.” (Dibimbing oleh Roby Marrung dan Petrus Tiranda). Masalah yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana strategi pemimpin dalam memulihkan relasi sosial masyarakat di Pangkung Batu pasca pemilihan Kepala Lembang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penyebab konflik yang terjadi pasca pemilihan, peran kepemimpinan Kepala Lembang dalam mengelola konflik, serta strategi yang digunakan dalam memulihkan relasi sosial masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori kepemimpinan James MacGregor Burns yang memandang kepemimpinan sebagai proses hubungan timbal balik antara pemimpin dan masyarakat serta teori konflik Hugh F. Halverstadt yang menjelaskan konflik sebagai akibat dari perbedaan kepentingan, keyakinan, dan nilai-nilai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konflik pasca pemilihan dipengaruhi oleh perbedaan kepentingan, pilihan politik, dan ketidakpuasan terhadap hasil pemilihan. Dalam memulihkan relasi sosial masyarakat, Kepala Lembang menerapkan komunikasi persuasif, pendekatan kekeluargaan, serta kerja sama dengan tokoh agama dan tokoh masyarakat sehingga hubungan sosial yang sempat mengalami ketegangan dapat kembali terjalin dengan baik dan lebih harmonis. ABSTRACT Tamar Tangke. “An Analysis of Leadership Strategies in Restoring Social Relations in Pangkung Batu After the Village Head Election.” (Supervised by Roby Marrung and Petrus Tiranda). The problem examined in this study is how leaders implement strategies to restore social relations within the Pangkung Batu community following the Village Head election. This study aims to identify the causes of post-election conflict, examine the leadership role of the Village Head in managing conflict, and analyze the strategies used to restore social relations within the community. This research employed a qualitative method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The theoretical framework of this study is based on James MacGregor Burns’ leadership theory, which views leadership as a reciprocal process between leaders and followers, and Hugh F. Halverstadt’s conflict theory, which explains conflict as arising from differences in interests, beliefs, and values. The findings reveal that the post-election conflict was influenced by differences in interests, political preferences, and dissatisfaction with the election results. In restoring social relations, the Village Head applied persuasive communication, a familial approach, and collaboration with religious and community leaders. These efforts contributed to rebuilding social harmony and strengthening relationships among community members.
